My name is Ralph Jones. I began serving my apprenticeship in the family trade of woodworking on my thirteenth birthday. To date, I have 64 plus years of experience in the field. I worked in the Carpenters and Joiners Union for seventeen years, where I taught an apprenticeship program for five years. Following that, I taught Vocational Carpentry for a combined teaching total of sixteen years. I then became a building inspector for three years and then semi-retired in 1997 and opened a custom woodworking business, specializing in drafting and antiue furniture restoration.
